just had the belt done on her 1.8T B5 quattro Sport - 57k miles but I got them to do the water pump at the same time even though the pump was replaced once at about 35k miles ( leaking). Reckon it was cheap insurance - extra cost was about ?40 ( about $60 to you guys!!)
Never heard of the problem with the V6 tho'
