'02 A4s NOT very photogenic....
is it me or is the new A4s not very photogenic? When you see one in person, it looks nothing like the pictures and it surely looks 100X better....
Just curious what others thought....

I agree...probably because the car is brand-new
and we don't have a running memory of the shape. I felt the same way about the Porsche Boxsters when they came out...photos just didn't do it justice.

Cars are like people. Some look ugly in the pictures, but look...
even uglier in person. ;-)

My friend also finally saw an 02 A4 in person, and boy, was he amazed...he felt the pictures didn't do justice at all!!!
I think a lot of it has to do with distance...
I think the 02 A4s look good when you see it in person because you're closer to it...the bottom panels look less obvious and the car looks less bubbly as you're more able to see the lines...
from far away, as in the brochure shows, it looks like the car has a really high ground clearance because the bottom panels seem to blend in with nothingness giving the car a really high-off-the-ground look...
THE BEST ANGLE for the 02 A4s, seeing it straight from the back, and straight and low from the front...the side angle is alright unless you have the sport package wheels or larger wheels and rims...
