Ok, well now I'm just a bit pissed. I ordered a dolphin 1.8TQM in the last week of April and I get a call this morning at 8 am from my dealer telling me that he is very sorry but my order has been cancelled.... at which point I decided to tear into my dealer and an AoA reginal manager(who got a very nasty phone call at 9:30 this morning). They were both 'so appologetic' but could someone please tell me why it took them over 10 weeks to find out my order was can-x?? Audi is about to get written off the list cause I don't think I'm gonna both putting up with this BS anymore... which is a shame becuase I thought that it was a great car.. it just seems to me that Audi isn't treating us very well as customers. Anyone else have similar experiences??

stemming from some german auto workers strike. My order got pushed back 6 weeks, so i settled for a dealer spec'd car instead, my original car just got finished building.
you'll probably be able to find what your looking for on a lot somewhere. What options do you want?

My 02 3.0QMS got cacelled after being on order for 4 weeks. I was told this just about a month ago. Maybe the 3.0 line ended first. Anyhow I agree Audi needs to keep there dealers better informed of when the lines are going to change. My dealer told me they closed the line much ealier this year, to get a jump on next year. Sounds lame but I do believe the problem is with Audi and not the dealer. When I ordered the car in the begining of May, I told the dealer I'd heard rumors (on AW) that the line was shutting down. He told me that they had not been told to stop placing odrders on 02's. Despite the BS I'm sticking with Audi, and changed my order to an 03. The dealer told me I can expect the car at the end of Sept, or middle of Oct, which is about a month latter then the 02 was due. My current lease doesn't run out until the end of Oct anyway, so in my case it might all be for the best.

... they even might make more money if the invoice price goes up. If they would refuse something like this, I would form a picket line in front of the dealership with "Don't buy here" signs.
They should reorder for the same price and give you some big-*** incentive for screwing you up.
