'02 Sport Battery removal- what friggin' allen size?

I'm going to have to remove the strut bar and the hold-down for the battery. All I have is SAE size allens. What's the metric? So I can get the right tool.

strut bar is the same size. you might not need to reove strut bar if you can squeeze an extension to the one holding hte battery. strutbar will flex just slightly

I picked up <a href="http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00946384000P?mv=rr" target="_new">this set</a> and the length on the 6mm was just right. Ball end lets you have it a little off vertical and still make a good connection to the bolt.

the way to get the battery out. I took all the bolts out except for the problematic one by the brake booster (you'll know which one I mean)-- just loosen that one enough so you can move/hinge the brace on that bolt. Use blue-loctite on the bolts when you put them back in.
Not necessary to move the support bracket to get out the 6mm hex bolt holding the battery down if you use similar long T-handle Hex Key I posted above.
