I wanted an A6 for just the reasons you mentioned. I'm 6'5" and about 270lbs. I ended up with an A4 because of the manual trans option. My A4 car fits me ok, but God forbid anyone has to sit behind me who's over 3' tall. Saw several A6 and heard no manual was available, so I gave up. Wish I had pursued it a little more. The all-road is available in 6 speed manual. Seems to be a rare breed, but there are a few on eBay as I write. I discovered this after I got my A$ set up the way I want it and ready for the next 100k miles.

Guess Ill wait till Audi brings their Diesel to the states before I change cars. Hopefully that will be available in a manual.
