'03 a4 1.8t Coil Packs
'03 b6 1.8t w/126K miles. Have P0303 Misfire Fault code. Want to change plugs and coil packs. Never done this before as this is my son's car. After pulling the coil pack harness off does the coil pack come straight up to reveal the spark plug. Any special tool required so as to not wreck the coil pack in the process?

Changed plugs,gapped @.032, reversed #2 & #3 coil packs, erased codes, and still getting the same FC 0303 "cylinder #3 misfire". I assume that since the same cylinder is misfiring that eliminates the coil pack as the culprit. How does one check the wiring to the coil packs? If that is eliminated then the only thing remaining is the injectors - how are those tested?
