Hi All,
Long time since I've been here- had a 2002 1.8T and loved it... just not the power (quattro plus Tiptronic = too slow!).
I stopped at the local dealership to see about another A4- I've been thinking about one for a while- and they had an interesting used '05 for sale...
it's an early model '05, built in June '04:
-4,xxx miles
-leather seats
-sport package
-Bose
-heated seats
-NO SUNROOF
-tiptronic
-quattro
They said that it's an ex loan car. The salesguy said it was priced at 34,000, but that it had been there for a while and they'd be open to offers. I suspect it had been there because of the lack of a sunroof.
Anyway, that seems rather high to me. Any thoughts on what I should offer for it? I plugged it into the Kelley Blue Book, and the retail price was $37,500- I suspect that's very close to MSRP!
Thanks a bunch.

I just picked up an 05 A4 3.0 loaded with 70 miles for 35k and the dealer has one more left.I love the B6 and did not want the 05.5 B7.

an A4 V6 with cloth seats, manual, and no sunroof. But, alas, one cannot be bought that way here. I think for my daily driver (I have an Alfa Romeo Spider, too) an automatic makes more sense.

You can probably ask for 1k or 2k less since it's not moving. The longer it sits around, the move value it loses and the dealer loses out on that money.
