Default On the U.S.-spec A4, yes. Not sure about other countries though...(?) (more)

There should be a trunk release switch on the driver's door the works at all times, except when the alarm is armed (or I guess if the car is moving - like vx211 said). Otherwise, if you unlock all doors in the car, the trunk will release when you open it "manually" via the hidden release button on the trunk lid itself.

Default Hey, I don't have a trunk release switch :(

And, does you trunk swing open if you open it remotely, either via RC or this switch? Mine just unlocks and pops 5mm...but still no good if you're packed with shopping bags.

Whats the use of the trunk release button on the RC anyway? I just use the unlock car button and then open it :S

Default why would you want a trun lid to fully pop open like a Lincoln Town car?

imagine that happening on the highways

Default dont have in euro spec, also been trying to find the fuel flap release

and cant find that either :'(, also its still useful as you just have to knock the trunk a bit and it will pop open when youve done the key fob trunk release, its not exactly that difficult anyway just by clicking the soft touch boot release.

Default Car locked = fuel flap locked. Car unlocked = fuel flap unlocked. It's automatic...

...but just in case, there's an access plug in the trunk you can get to a release pull if the solenoid fails.

Default Re: Hey, I don't have a trunk release switch :(

I can only open my trunk lid using the RC switch.
So if i am picking someone at the airport i have to shut of the engine and then click the switch and the trunk will open
