My car had rough idle before and one day it lost acceleration power. I changed MAF sensor to a new one and my acceleration power became normal again but then my car still has rough idle but now with surging idle with rpm's jumping between 1000-900rpms, especially when it's cold. Also when i press acceleration pedal the rpms go down to 900 and goes up normally, when driving with 1700+ rpms the engine runs smoothly. If i disconnect MAF sensor the rpm jumping/rough idle disappears, same happens when i disconnect vacuum hose from EGR. I tried cleaning EGR it seemed fine. Could it still be faulty EGR or maybe a leak in vacuum hoses? Would appreciate any help.
