I finally have enough cash to properly service my car. Im planning on buying a complete timing belt kit from ECS with waterpump. Anyone have any feedback regarding those complete kits? My car has also not been properly serviced since about 70k when my warranty expired. What other items should i replace during this service? Spark plugs? filters?.
Thanks in advance,
Michael

My thoughts because this is what I did to mine with almost identical miles would be all filters and fluids:
Air Filter
Cabin Filter
Coolant
Transmission Oil
Diff Oil

I would do the serpentine belt tensioner as well. I have a 3.0 and I did my timing belt at 80k. At 100k my serpentine belt tensioner starting getting noisy. Kinda sucks because the front end had to come off again.

Plugs should be changed every 35-40k miles. When did you last change yours?
When doing the timing belt service, make sure you change the tension damper, tension roller, water pump, thermostat, timing belt, and serpentine belt. Also a great time to change your snub mount, and fix any other coolant leaks you might have.
We've got a great timing belt kit using OEM components. Feel free to email if you have any questions. There is a VIN split with the 2004 models, make sure you get the right kit.

Sounds, like you are doing everything you need to. The metal impeller water pump is certainly a good idea. I would not worry about things that can be done afterwards and just concentrate on doing a nice job with the timing belt.
