Default Definately drop it. '02 and early '03 suspensions were lower as MikTip said, but still too much gap

on non sports!

Default 17's on OEM Sport, I'd like 18's and perhaps a little drop...

and my lowers painted and a roof spoiler and some door blades and some tint and some more boost, but I'm broke :0

Default Re: Thanks for the pics... One more question...

Thanks to all who replied... Just what I needed to know.
The stock height does need to be lowered with the 17 as it appears. Having said that.. what is the best after market or Audi OEM item to get this done? Damn, just wish AUDI brought more 6 speeds with sport packages in the US!!!

Depends on your budget. How much are you willing to spend to lower the car?

Default Anything but the '02 or USP suspensions aren't really low enough imo

Stasis Streetsport or Vogtland coilovers provide a nice ride, while giving you that adjustability. They're also not much more expensive than a new spring/shock combo is.

It's not the budget as much as the ride and handling...
I have to say, my 98 2.8 5 spd with the sport package and cloth sport seats feels SOOOOO much better the the B6 platform with the sport package. My 98 feels more like the Porsche in ride characteristics. Let's hope Audi is not catering to sport mom's with the softer side with thier "Sport" models. Naaaa.... Right????

Get a nice set of coilovers. I like the Stasis SL coils.

Default Also check out the following (depending on your budget)...

Stasis Streetsport coilovers: $1000
Vogtland or Vogtland GT coilovers: $1200 I think
Bilstein PSS9 coilovers: $1900 I think
Stasis SL: $2500
Stasis Motorsport: $3800

I currently have the Vogtland coils but will most likely upgrade to Stasis SL coils in the future.
