Doesn't matter. I'm still not feeling it.
Let me rephrase that. I know it's a nice car, I respect the power and the ability to get like 380hp with just a flash, but I still don't see myself ever owning one.

Wow...PW'ing on a new level. And, asking that question on an AUDI forum?
What on earth is he expecting? A forum full of people who think, "Gee, that BMW is so much better, I must have been going through some sort of mental lapse to buy an Audi!"
They're both fine cars, and the overwhelming majority of us just liked the Audi better, for various reasons which we've already discussed ad nauseum.
There's no definitive answer.
If you find yourself second-guessing, just sell your A4, buy your 3-series, and bug the guys on the BMW forums with that question.
