2002 A4 5 spd - Transmission Slop

I just recently installed a snub mount and while i suppose it helped a bit, i still feel way to much movement in my transmission.
Underneath I can push up on the trans and move it approx 4-6 inches it seems like (i may be exaggerating).
Anyway, i drove a 2005 6spd and there was no slop. I was told that a new trans mount will not help but i think i might try anyway. Another person told me the trans mount will be good in the beginning but will soften up quick.
Are there any aftermarket trans mounts (eurothane?) that will stay firm or any solutions for 2002 and up to help in this respect?
Thanks for any thoughts!
