No, there is a center channel speaker in the front of the car....The rear speaker is a woofer that runs full range. It is not considered a sub woofer. I am attempting to replace that speaker with a flat panel Infinity sub with it's own crossover and amp. The only problem is I can't figure out how to get the rear deck off. Anyone have any luck getting their rear deck off? If so, please drop me a line at integroid@aol.com. Thanks

If plan "a" (Above) does work, then Tom@apr and I are going to fabricate our own enclosure for the left side trunk area. We will be removing the little cubby hold and making the that entire left side a fiberglass enclosure. Hopefully this will work out to our likings. If anyone is interested in one after we are done, please email me above. We don't know how much it will cost until we get the first one made. Thanks!

i absolutely agree with what you are doing, just be sure not to let the fiberglass touch the skin, only the lord knows what i have gone through with "glass"

Look at the center of your dash. Looks like a sensor above a mesh grille

Yes, I know....I have worked with glass before as well. We are going to use blue foam as a mold and then put the glass over the blue foam. Should be much easier and also won't have to worry about ruining the factory interior piece=) Wish us luck!
