2002 A4 Avant 2.5 TDI Small Vibration / Shake Problem

I have just bought an 2002 A4 Avant 2.5 TDi with 120,000 on the clock and a multitronic gearbox.
I noticed when accelerating slowly from a stand still, or very slow speed (< 5mph) i feel a slight vibration / shake. It does not happen all of the time, only usually when its warm.
It was due for new tyres and front discs and pads, so i have replaced those but the shake is still there.
I don't seem to get it if i floor it only when under a slow acceleration, and it does not happen at any other time (high speed, etc.)
I heard of some guy that the belt that drives the multitronic box maybe the problem i hope not because i assume this is expensive!!!
Has anyone got any ideas?!?!?
Off topic: I was wondering if the factory fitted suspension is sports or standard on this model? They are Sachs shocks, thats all i know.
And...
Are the factory fitted alarms usually really quiet? if so i doubt it would scare a mouse let alone a thief!
p.s. the engine code is AYM if this helps!
