Default When I turn the key I hear an electrical 'whine' of the car powering up...

when I park the car at night I turn off the stereo and heat so that is not hitting the system when I start the car. That is just habit.

Default Bentley is a manual on parts and breakdowns of the car on CD.

about $70 but very helpful if you tear into your car alot.

Default have you looked at your battery? There is a little eye that will tell you the condition of the

battery. It is actually in the manual as well. Green means good, black means it needs to be replaced. Check that real quick.

Default Not sure if what I saw was the eye...but lets just say it is

I found what i can only assume is the eye on the battery. Its on the top and had what looks like (to me at least) like a sensor surrounded with black plastic petals. The eye is black. I looked in the manual (as I was jumping up & down to stay warm) and did not see anything referring to the eye.

Not for nothing....but if it is the battery...HOW could the dealer keep my car for three days last week, replace the switch and let me drive off with a bad battery???

And before it even got to the dealer...Audi roadside assistance hauled it off on a flatbed.

it should just be a little clear lens about a 1/4" big. if it's black, you might try a new battery.
