I have a 2003 Audi A4 Quattro A/T with just over 102,000mi. I have noticed lately that in 3rd, 4th, or 5th gear during acceleration from 1000-2000RPM there is a pulsing noise/vibration coming from somewhere I cannot pinpoint. During the pulsing noise/vibration the RPM drop around 100RPM, then when the pulsing stops the RPMs go back up. Once the RPMs go above 2000 the pulsing goes away. I have searched all over the forums and have had no luck. I have replaced both front CV axles due to outer boot failure, and subsequent joint failure. The pulsing occurred both before and after the axle replacement. Can anyone help me out?

Check out this video to see what I am talking about. I do not think that it is the driveshaft bearing because I do not see how it would physically cause RPMs to pulsate.
