<center><img src="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q33/x1rider/changepost11.jpg"></center><p>only an oil pan heater (but I could be wrong, I'm telling you what the dealer told me). You can see it here in the pic, you just stick it to the bottom of the oil pan and run the wire/plug to the top.

I didn't need a block heater, all I needed was to run the car with synthetic oil. Obviously he had never been exposed to the -45C we often get in northern ON!!!

It was 2-3 years ago, or maybe more. I had a '95 90 V6....and my cars are parked on the street so getting it started was fun. it would barely turn....but it would start....then for 5 minutes you hear all sorts of clatter from under the hood and just hope its not your pistons turning up side down....few of those starts have shortened the life of that motor, I'm sure.
