So, I recently upgraded to an '08 B7 since my lease on my A4 will be ending but I still have my B6 until my inspection on 10/21. Anyway, I tried to start it this morning (it had been in the garage for about a week) and it just won't start. Put the key in, turn it, the lights go on, radio and such, but the car won't turn on. It will do this weird sound--almost like the car is trying to turn over, but it won't. If I keep doing it, the car will start will start to beep 3 times.

What's going on?! It was working perfectly fine and it was just in the garage and not being used for about a week.

And another thing, the key that I had been using for 3.5 years just died the same time that car wouldn't start. Weird. The spare works.

Sounds like the main battery needs to be charged with battery charger, or replaced.
