2004 A4 1.8T Sirius Satellite Tuner Install
Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum, but now that I finally purchased my Audi I'm sure I'll become a regular...
Anyway, I have a question regarding the factory satellite tuner. I purchased and installed the Sirius satellite tuner in my trunk using the factory wiring harness (my car has the shark fin antenna). However, when I push the SAT button on the head unit, I get the message "NO SAT" which is the same message that you get with no satellite tuner installed. According to the manual, means that the head unit doesn't recognize the satellite tuner. I've triple-checked my connection, but still nothing. Is there anything behind the head unit in the dash that needs to be connected, or are there any fuses? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks in advance,
Marcus

Did you buy the Audi Sat receiver box? If so, you probably need to pull the bottom connector from
the back of the radio once you have everything connected up. For some reason the radio needs to be reset whenever new components are connected up for the first time. Give that a try and see if that works.

I'll try that...
Is there a good way to get to the back of the radio without obliterating my car's interior?
Thanks,
Marcus
