I was tryin tonight to recode so i can have fogs without the low beams on. My car has the Lighting Package and the soft code was 01013. From all the other posts I have seen, all the other cars had 00013 as their stock soft code for U.S Spec cars. I changed my soft code to 01011 and nothing changed. I then changed it to 01014 and now the dash, radio, climate etc are lit fogs are on all the time along with parking lights as DRL's. Auto headlights still work but the fogs will not go on when you pull out on the switch (didn't work before I changed the code either). The first turn on the switch is not effectively useless since it doesn't change anything. Then turning the low beams on manually along with front and rear fogs are the same as before. Hope this makes sense. This is pretty much just some information for for those who have 2004's with lighting packages. Has anyone else been able to get fogs without lowbeams?

see if you can get the fogs to stay on with the high beams with diferent soft coding. Since you have the lighting package your coding is completly different than any of the other B6's out currently.
