Default 2005 1.8T Diriviter valve or blow off valve?

you don't want to put a blow off valve in your car...

Default ok here is a start....

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER put a BOV on our cars. 1, becuase the car is not made to have a BOV it uses a DV.
2. This is not a civic.

Default Our cars are designed with a diverter valve in mind. There is a chance that your car can run

lean with a BOV because not all of the air is being sent back through the MAF and confusing the ECM in the process. There are hybrid BOV's that don't throw fault codes(most of the time). But IMO it's not worthwhile mod. just pick up a DV.

Default oh maybe. I thought the engine tried to make up for missing air making it lean.

not really sure. Just know better than to get one.
