Hey guys, can't seem to get my car started.
When I key on the 'press clutch to start' message doesn't leave when i press clutch in. I can only try to crank the car once and then the ignition locks and doesnt let me turn forward any more.
I have tried jumping the car and bypassing the clutch switch to no avail.
What are my next moves?

Press clutch fault will not go away; the car will just start. You need to get a VAGCOM and download codes to determine issue. Sounds like an engine speed sensor (G28).

Okay thanks, btw I didn't mention but I don't get any feedback when I try to crank the car the first time. As in nothing happens, no clicking, no cranking, just silence, and then the lockout.
