Default 2005.5 or 2006 A4 3.2 versus 2.0

Im looking at the 3.2 or 2.0T A4 and am not sure if the extra engine power is really worth the cash. I drove both, and would like to get any comments you all may have on the two.
Also. which transmission are you all happier with, the CVT of the Tiptronic...
thanks
CD
ps- i was sure this question has been asked a ton of times...but when i search it ignores the key words 3.2 and 2.0.....

Default your search didn't work... because the B6 is for the 2002-2005 A4

you are interested in the B7...

the B6 engines are 1.8 and 3.0 hence why you didn't find anything

Default Dont make choices that you will regret later... info inside...

Go with Quattro for sure!

as far as the engine goes, if you plan to modify the engine, get the 2.0T, if you plan to keep it stock (which wont happen if you keep hanging out here) get the 3.2. If you are worried about powerrice go with 2.0T with a chip, and you will be pretty close to the 3.2

many people on here have made poor choices, ie: non-quattro, tip/cvt, 3.0 etc. So take your time so you dont regret it later....

hope this helps....

Default I agree. Definitely go Quattro and a stage 1 chip alone for the 2.0T will give you...

phenominal numbers. >255hp and >= ~300 lb. ft. of torque. WHen you couple that with a lighter car, the 2.0T outperforms the 3.2 performance wise.

Default i wouldn't call getting a 3.0 or 3.2 a bad choice....

it just depends what you are looking for... don't forget that some people are concerned about chipping a car and voiding the warranty...

it also depends exactly what you are after in the car
