I have heard that the 1.8T ponies will be charged up to 210 hp. Say goodbye to my '98 if this is the case. A facelift and more hp's will be enough to put me over the edge and buy new!

I don't buy it. A 210bhp 1.8T and a 220bhp 3.0? It makes no business sense.

Maybe they'd replace the 3.0 with the 3.2 from the DSG TT.

The 3.0L is a brand new engine. I can believe 190hp, but no way it will be 210hp. There will be so many complaints from non-enthuists about turbo lag it will be rediculous.

Also, I am pretty sure the face lift will be in 2007 not 2005. Audi has added a lot of different front and rear fascia designs lately (ie ultra sport, painted and non-painted fascias) for them to introduce another fascia wpuld be much to costly and would not make (again) any business sense.

I would bet that there will be HP gains in the 6 cylinder too. There is too many other cars that are advancing their HP when Audi is standing still. Too much resting on their something or others...

...And I also agree that they have to upgrade the 3.0 too
