it's a great car, sporty styling more traditional *** heavy design but understand that THIS IS AN AUDI FORUM you are gonna smell crap if u bring this up here. we really dont care to hear about other cars that can top ours we just like audi's =) best wishes with the g35

AWD only in the sedan and not 298hp.
The 6spd coupe gets the 298 hp and is RWD
I gotta say, I drove one and they are sweet. No Audi in terms of build quality but definitely a nice ride. The coupe would be my choice for a weekend car, but does not stand up to my A4 3.0 when it comes to comfort.
The sedan is nice too, but the interior is below grade, still a nice ride.
Audi better start pumping up the ponies because it wont be long......

The Infiniti has to be lacking in areas!
I have two ways of looking at this and come to the same conclusion, Infinity lacks in areas where Audi excels. I do not have a hard core loyalty to any brand, so I am not just saying this because I have an A4.
1. The G35 and the A4 are approximately the same price. So how does the G35 have 100 more hp for the same price?
2. The G35 has the hp closer to the S4, so how does Infiniti price a car at $35,000 when the S4 is closer to $52,000. That is a $17,000 price difference.
Where is the G35 cutting corners?

this thread might mean more if you were an active member...
but the truth is everyday people trade their Audi's for Infinities and people also trade their Infinities for Audi's. It's a market. Enjoy your car...and your next...and next......

the sedan gets a bump to 280HP not 298HP
Which is due to a differnece in the exhaust system. The sedan's exhuast system has been proven to be really restrictive in order to keep the noise level down. Swap out the exhuast and you make up a lot of the HP differnce. And IIRC the AWD is only avail in the 5AT for now.
