there are so many factors...like build quality, that feeling you get inside when your driving that its a solid car. Besides I'd rather be part of a select few than buying your every day Infiniti or Acura. Seems like they give it away to just about anybody.

...with all the back and forth here about how accurate dyno numbers are keep in mind the German TUV regulations are much stricter than the Japanese. How real is that 298HP?

$1800 and $1900 damage in a low-speed bump that the A4 and even Beetle have ZERO damage. Costs exceed the next worse car by 50%.
I'm glad you like it.

a plain looking vehicle both exterior and interior. the new interior finish is nicer than the previous years (they actually use aluminum instead of silver painted plastic. The AWD system functions well but unless you do get a manual gearbox, the automatic SUCKS. it robs power and torque to no end. The g vdc system can be disabled but the traction control portion can not, so if you want get all four wheels loose, your fun is limited. I have ample room in my A4 but I have to slouch in my G (Im 6'3").
This may be a rant but i enjoy my 1.8t (with extras) much more than my g and am considering buying out my '02 lease or getting a '05 B6. The B6 may not be a land rocket but it is fun to drive and more responsive than a g.

in some regards. You can be satisfied with a saturn, but if you buy and know what to expect from a 50K-100K car you should also be satisfied. Based on all the information available, consumers are not happy with thier BMW and Mercedes. It;s a fact.
