I dunno about the A4 being faster 0-60mph. But you have a point about that horsepower reading.
A buddy of mine got a ride in a 330ci(man) and a G35(auto) and didnt feel the extra power the G35 is rated to have.. but maybe bceause it was auto vs. manual..<ul><li><a href="http://www.caranddriver.com/article.asp?section_id=15&article_id=8550& page_number=6">C&D</a></li></ul>

They are really going crazy on horsepower....
I dont understand why the hell you need 300 hp, in a family sedan. With our ridiculous gas prices and oppressive speed limits what good is all that power. Mind you its fun..but when can you ever use. At stoplights?? Jeez you could put any car to 100mph..i think the japanese our bringing the horsepower war to far..where its become ridiculous. The new maxima will probably have 320 horsepower.

The "E"in "EDL" as nothing to do with the Quattro AWD system. It is a traction control (!?) at ...
Best a poor man's limited slip diff. A cheap way for Audi to get the power to transfer form one side to the other by using ABS logic in reverse.
