So a few months ago I went ahead and got an all around 35% tint done on my 03' A4. Recently I've been debating whether I should go darker as the shop that did it for me has acquired a 23% tint as of 2 months ago. What is everyone's opinion, is a 23% tint really that much different, do you guys think it looks better than a 35%? Basically I will be paying $100 to remove the old tint and the same price as I originally paid to get the 23% done. I can't help but feel sometimes that the 35% is too light, but I go back and forth in my mind between yes it is too light and no it's fine and looks classy lol. Thoughts?

I think a lot of it depends on the interior color of your car. I had a BMP 20th An GTI with a black interior and got 35% all around. It was just perfect in my opinion. Any darker and it would start to look tacky. Just my .02.

Hey, so I ended up getting the 23% done and imo it looks great. The car is silver so I don't think it looks tacky, it actually brings out the shape of the vehicle. And 23% isn't terribly darker than 35% but it's worth getting it.

Those of you with 35% tint... do you feel like it provides adequate reduction of glare from the sun?
