Default So do you have THEM on now?

I wanna see

Yeah, 235/35-20 would be safer. I had asked Chris for his opinion, but no reply. I'm sure he would mention this one though.

Maybe I shouldn't venture into 20 territory though with the wheel problems I have had. If they were to rub, I'd go crazy and drive off a cliff )

Default On the front it was so big that...

I would occasionaly rub on the outside and i had to shave the uprights slightly on the inside. Lowering the car over them seems almost impossible.

Default Have you done the math?

235/35/19 diameter: 25.5 inches (your current tires)

235/35/20 diameter: 26.5 inches
245/35/20 diameter: 26.8 inches

So like I said, you'd be adding a whole inch to the overall diameter.

And that is why TireRack's recommendation is better because:

245/30/20 diameter: 25.8 inches.

Default No.

Too scared )

Dimensions can vary from brand to brand though, from manufacturing process. My P4's were much closer to 25" dia. from measuring them, and that was w/ them inflated to 38 psi. Only way to be sure is actual measurements from manufacturer.

Default Just remember Darryl modding is not an exact science and some things will happen...

just how much of it are you willing to tolerate. I don't mind the rubbing in the rear w/ a full load on bumps and dips as this occurred w/ the RH's But the Rubbing in the front would drive me nuts...but i dont think that will happen. From what I heard the guys over at autosport werks just removed the screws at the top of the liner (doubt it was that easy) but yah.

No dont have the tires on yet...maybe end of this coming week.
Hell too bad toyo doesn't make a 225 35 20 then it'll really get closer.

Default I agree...

but you know how obsessive I am with perfection

Rubbing from the rear tires with that kind of situation is ok. But it's the rubbing up front from small dips and while turning that kills me. But that is being caused by the 5mm spacer I had to use. Other then that issue, I've never had any rubbing problems with my 19x8.5 ET31 w/ 235/35-19 set up - even as low as I am on CO's and with two extra passengers.

If the 235/35-20 tire is going to be almost 1" bigger in overall tire diam. though, that kind of worries me. We need a 20" tire that maintains the 19" tire dia., but loses the profile to accomodate the 20" wheel. But then were riding on "rubber bands".
