I'm assuming that was windchill? Monday here in Albany it was -26 windchill.

Some people don't realize that "windchill index" only.....

applies to exposed skin. Non living objects don't experience windchill, (moist surfaces will be supercooled briefly, until the water evaporates or freezes) and will be at the same temp as the surrounding air temp regardless of if the air is moving from wind or from the relative motion of the object.
