3.0 "lag" and steering questions

My 3.0 seems a bit sluggish from 20-40 MPH. Of course I know it isn't turbo lag, but when I punch it, it doesn't respond as quickly as it did when I first got it (only 1600 miles so far).
Also, I just noticed this morning that the car is tracking slightly to the right (actually I don't know if this is the proper term. The steering wheel turns slightly to the right without any input). Any ideas about these two problems? Are they interrelated? No warning lights.
Thanks for any info.

I think I overstated "punching" it. I notice the "lag" when I floor it and when I use a lighter touch.

like to drive with one foot on the brake at all times. The computer messes up and lags big time. But I know this isnt my problem or A4Dolphin. That's more the kind of way my mom would drive. My lag is most pronounced between 20-40 when just accelerating lightly, like when you're cruising along looking for an address, that kind of accelerating, thats when mine is the worst.

I had the same problem when I go straight, my car pulls to the right. I went to service and they found that my left-front camber was off and my left rear toe was off too. After fixing it, it seem to go straight. About the lag, not too sure, will try it out tonight.

the car (at least with the sport package and those wide tires) tends to be very sensitive to crowned roads (i.e. roads that are higher in the middle than towards the edges), and so the car will try to pull towards the lower edge of the road (the right). I notice this on mine, but because the car doesn't pull left or right on perfectly flat roads, it's not due to alignment for me.
Make sure you test it on a flat road before wondering if your alignment should be checked.
