Default the 3.0 engine really does feel more powerful after a few thousand miles..

finally gotten my second 3.0 engine fully broken in. truthfully, i thought i was nuts when i said there was a power boost after 3k on a new engine.. well.. i am feeling it again with my new engine. what causes this weirdness with the car? we should do some research on this subject.

oh yea.. i followed a new a8l home tonight, god.. what a great car to follow in a winding forrest road.. beautiful!

Default i haven't really noticed. i'm at around 4.5k...

but I have learned its nuances a bit so i'm able to utilize it better. like, i have a better feel for where its power comes on the rpm curve, which gear to use when and stuff, so it kind of feels like it has more power but I think that's only because i'm now learning how to take advantage of it. been a little rough since i came from an acura integra that had a completely different feel- engine, throttle, clutch, tranny, rpm curve... feels like i've been learning to drive all over again

Default I agree, and can relate to exactly what you say...

I have 7.5k km (4.6k miles).

My fav is when you are accelrating on the highway in 4th gear at about 3/4 throttle and you reach around 3,800rpm and from then on it picks you up like a magic carpet.

I don't mean to suggest it is the fastest thing I have ever driven/ridden in, but it is a lot of fun.
