Default 3.0 Quattro with CVT?

Anyone else also wondering when Audi will bring out a 3.0 Quattro with CVT?

I think its a shame that the 3.0 front wheel drive is quicker off the mark (almost 2sec from 0-62mph) than the quattro which should be the sportier of the two (even considering that quattro is heavier)

Default Audiusa site says that both the 3.0 FrontTrak and Quattro Manual do 0-60 in 6.9

Where does it say that the 3.0 FrontTrak is almost 2 seconds faster than the quattro?

3.0 Quattro Tip does 0-60 in 7.7 - only 0.8 seconds slower than the Multitronic.

The tranny can't take the torque yet with the quattro.

Default it's still not 2 seconds then

3.0 FronTrak CVT 0-60 = 6.9sec
3.0 Quattro Tip 0-60 = 7.7sec

Why is the quattro slower? Easy, it's a tiptronic with a conventional torq converter. The CVT isn't a conventional auto, uses no torq converter, and is actually just as fast as a quattro 5sp because CVTs are more efficient then conventional autos.
