Default 3.0 vs. 1.8, differences?

Apart from Engine, different manual transmission, and different add-on options, what else is different (chasis, suspension, brakes)?

Same suspension etc...just little things besides motor tranny like no electric seats just power lumbar alum. trim instead of wood grain etc

The front suspension may actually be a little different to account for weight differences in the engine. VW used to do that with VR6 vs. 1.8T in their cars, if I recall. But that's not really a "benefit" just a compensation.

Default Leather/Power seats + Audi Navigation

Those were the three main big differences I care about between the two. All of the above are only available on the 3.0 for some... dumb... reason.

3.0 has slightly larger front brakes (prob. to account for extra weight)

Default *nod* It depends largely on what you're looking for in the car. I don't regret getting the 3.0 (m)

But I can see how it's not for everyone.

Default Here is my list that I compiled...

3.0 has
-larger front brakes
-6-speed manual
-wood trim
-power driver front seat
-chrome outside trim around window
-16" vs. 15" standard wheels

Like someone said the suspension is only different to account for the extra weight.

Jeff
