Default 300 + for springs/shocks installation??? CRAZY! (more)

Contacted DSR (dyno spot racing) for a price quote to install springs/shocks on my 02 1.8TQ. They said 300 for installation and add another 100 for alignment. Thats crazy! Then i called new Dimensions and they quoted me $637 for installation and alignment!!!! does this sound right? Anybody know a shop in the south bay that can install these for me with out costing that much??? Please help. Thanks!

Default The $300 + 100 sound like a damn good deal, I spent...

about $805 (with allignment and H&R Spacers on the back two wheels)when I had my eibach springs and shocks installed. I checked around and that was about average in my area.

Default Holy cow..

I need to charge more.

Or just be more ignorant on the quick and proper way of doing things.

2.5 hour job shouldn't cost more than $200.

Default South Bay...as in Los Angeles South Bay?

If you don't mind driving out to Long Beach, call up EF1 Motorsports. Fabrizio will do an install and alignment for 200 bucks. I highly recommend him.

http://www.ef1motorsports.com</a

That's way too expensive. What's their shop rate? Shouldn't take more than 2.5 hours to do...
