Default I don't see a point...
If it's true that the factory fill is a 0w-30 synthetic oil, then it would carry you through winter just fine.

yeh but should i even change my oil or just wait till 5000 miles

6000 at the earliest. Beat on it a little before oil change to seat the rings. Keep oil level up.
