3M tint. Who has gone this route vs. standard tint?

lifetime guarantee and the shop that did the install is right around the corner. don't notice any difference between this and the 3M

against solarguard or formulaone and you see all the imperfections in the material that 3M uses.
You can usually ask local tint shops for samples, see if you can find a vendor that carries a competitor brand.
When getting your windows tinted, I would say its as important to have a good installer (if not even more so), then to have good tint.
Good tint with a crappy installer will still look crappy. Spend the time to do research on local vendors, check out their quality, and ask about their warranty. Although its usually nice to shop for the cheapest deal, sometimes you end up getting what you paid for.
