50% Llumar tint pics
Just got the windows tinted. Llumar Premium Metal Stealth 50% tint. Compliments the car very nicely. Installer did an excellent job.

VERY nice. I just got my dolphin gray tinted with Sungard Quantum 37. I live in Texas and no local dealer had 50% film. I think you made an excellent choice. What kind of rims are those?

Most of the tint you see posted is 35% or less. Those of you in sunshine states have more lenient laws. Minnesota is 50% and they like to ticket. Didn't want too dark of a tint on my Dolphin anyhow.

I am doing this for heat issues. I have grey leatherette seats on silver, and this is the hottest car in the summer I have ever had!!

Llumar...
is a very popular tint brand name. They have varying degrees of tints, from dye based to metallic based. The dye based films will fade from black to a bluish color, stay away from primary dye-based tints. The lines from Llumar you should look at are the Platinum and Stealth series. Both are metallic based, which tend to give the windows a more-mirror like finish (though not the silver crap you see). I have had Llumar in two previous cars and never had an issue.
