Default I drive my car hard too. The car is so slow its the only way I can get moving

without falling asleep is if drive it hard. Plus I autoX. This summer that will be taken care of though

Don't worry about it, you are getting it replaced and thats all that matters

Default Why shift @ redline? your past the peak power and at that point are just wasting time....

Shift earlier/smoother and you will get more out of your car. Take a lesson from any accomplished racer - smoothness and consistancy wins the race. Morons who just push their cars to the limit will usually DNF because they either broke something or crashed. I just have no sympathy for either situation.

Default Not true. The V6 pulls strong all the way to the red line so that part makes sense...

...abusing the synchros is whats getting him in trouble.

I doubt it's Sandy's fault. My tip shifts crappy from time to time and Audi doesn't have an answer

Default Nah, he clearly admitted to constant abuse. It's nobody's fault but his...

I think it's his claim that a BMW would stand up any better that are rubbing people the wrong way.

To treat a car like that, then question the durability of the product (when it was never meant for those conditions), doesn't make any sense.

If someone ever wants to buy your A4, I hope they search AW first.
