On the dipstick the top hole, which should be filled up with oil to show that you have enough oil, does not fill up with oil on mine. The oil comes up a lil below the circle.
...isnt this happing a little to early?
man im pissed...so i know its bad if your engine is eating up oil, but is this at all normal for breaking in?
what do you guys thinK?
should i just add some bit more of oil? what brand and what weight?

Wow. You managed to write 3 paragraphs and not include any useful info whatsoever...
What engine? Model year? Total amount of miles on the engine? When was your last fill up? Did you look at the oil level right after the oil change?

I'm also tempted to say "wrong forum" and "STFA".
I'm guessing you have a B7 if you're talking about break in. It is normal for a new engine to consume a bit of oil during break in.

Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to the forum... SMACK!
Laying down the law, huh?
FWIW to the OP, my car eats oil like beast. Always has, since day one and no one can tell me why or where exactly it goes. Doesn't appear to be leaking or burning.

I really did want to help the guy, but he provided absolutely no information :-(
My car eats a bit of oil as well. I learned to live with it.
Did you get the SC installed already?
