Default A4 1.8t Engine mods - Newbie

I am saving some cash to get the Stage I chip installed and I wanted to see if anyone is interested in sharing their thought - Ideas - problems etc.
I have heard the following:

Stage I chip from APR ((1 octane program)
Change Overflow Valve
leave air intake alone...
"A Honda accord V6 is still going to kick my ***..."

Default You're better off going with a 1+ setup (with upgraded fuel injectors)

You'll feel more of a kick that way, and you can pick up injectors in the classifieds for $250-375. Diverter valve might go, but I'm running 18psi on my stock dv for 8 months with no problems (knock on wood), as are others. And the stock air intake is more than sufficient. Is APR the closest tuner to you?

Oh, and no V6 Honda Accord is kicking my ***... ;-)

Nice thanks...
I am in Denver Colorado... I am sure there is an APR tuner around here.

Default Just to be safe...

If going stage 1+ you may want to think about getting some new spark plugs, a new diverter valve, spare coil packs and a turbo inlet pipe.

Default And a FMIC and exhaust will help maximize the gains. And then coilovers/brakes/sways will help

manage the power.

This is what is called a "slippery slope"

I went Stage 1+ with Siemans 380cc inhectors and Milltek exhaust. I'm happy with it
