Curb weight:
manual 3406 lbs or 1545 kg
auto 3550 lbs or 1610 kg

Default Audi spec sheets always quote low curb weights.
All Audis in recent memory - B6 A4, A6, A8 have all weighed shockingly more than the quoted figures. The B7 will be the same way. There's no reason why it would weigh less than the B6. The 2.0T engine is still cast iron. The body structure contains no more aluminum than before, and the running gear is slightly beefier. As nice as it would be to have a lighter, trimmer A4, I think we'll have to wait for the B8 (hopefully with aluminum spaceframe) for that.

That's 200 pounds less by my calculations. Maybe the UK figures do not include driver.
