A4 2003 1.8t b6 No Start with code
So I have The above mentioned Audi A4 parked in front of my house. was my Stepsons and I sorta inherited it. Will not start. has Generic Code P 0343 - Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit High Input (Bank 1 or single sensor). Also Coolant alarm light comes up.
Using an INNOVA 3100e Can OBD2 reader.
I replaced the Cam position sensor and reset the code. Tried to restart and it sputted once then just turns over and no start. do a reread of the codes and the same p0343 shows back up.
Can I DYI or take it to the shop? any help please.

On a fairly unknown car to you, I would think the codes would only be a guide until you make sure other things aren't causing it.
Need some history. Mileage? How has the car been maintained? Was it running when you "got" it? You said the coolant light was on. Is there a leak?
