A4 and A6 out??/
I was just talking to a VW sales guy, he told me that the A4's and A6's will be phased out in a few years... and then only left with the S line and the RS lines........... anyone heard of this rumor?

Read up on the plans for the different VW/Audi brands and the sport vs. luxury arenas they'll (more)
fall into. Audi will be one of the sport brands, but that doesn't mean the A4 and A6 will be phased out anytime soon and I doubt a VW sales guy would know such corporate secrets for sure.

Re: That's because the Passat and the A4 are indentical, except for the badge...
Passat and A4 are not identical. The Passat is closer to the A6 in interior and exterior size, and wheelbase. I owned a 2001 Passat, and a 2003 A4. The A4 is significantly smaller.(and full of blind spots, but much more fun to drive)

That's what I thought. I mean, I read about 10 international car magazines. I haven't heard of that. If they are going to get rid of the A4... then why bring the A3 over here, right???
