CBerten made a good suggestion.
Check the lemon law in your state and whether this kind of incident qualifies as a lemon. I know the car caught fire, but to be termed a lemon i believe you need to have recurring problems and the car needs to be out of commission for a specified time period. But that's your start.
Secondly, this isn't a common fault. Cause your's is probably the first post I recall that the car caught fire. Considering that you might not find faults or any bulletins saying this is a potential problem. Seems like bad luck.
Don't give up with AOA, keep trying, via phone calls and letter. Letters are good as you can save them for records. You never know when they have a change of heart.
If nothing else works, you will have to get your car totalled by the insurance company. and suck in all ther increased premiums (if any!!).
hope this helps...

There are people here helping you out. And my post was meant in jest, not in animosity. If you choose to get your undies in a twist over it, so be it.
And I notice you didn't respond like this to some other 'unhelpful' replies to this post, so if you want to get on your soap box and bestow some n00b forum etiquette, I suggest you either respond to them in the same manner or relax.
I meant no disrespect.

...arson? Had pyromaniac therapy? A fascination with matches? Curious choice of names. Freudian slip no doubt. I'd recommend you get in touch with Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. He takes your kind of cases. Good luck! (and stay away from Gigi)
