A4 Service Info??

A4 Service Info??
Check this out, today i just noticed that my car had a "get car serviced in 29 days, 3900 miles" in the dash. Is that normal what does that mean?.. i just changed oil 2.5 months ago. Please give some feedback.

so 5k miles is good for Oil Change....
Some people tell me 4k some tell me 3k some tell me 5k miles for oil change.. if im using Mobile 1 5w 30 synthetic.. how long really before i change the oil again??...

how hard do you drive it?
nothing wrong with 3K oil changes. Same with 5K, but if you are tracking the car or driving alot of short stints you might need less.
my vw i change the oil about once a year or 500 miles whichever comes first. This year that would be 300 miles.
Hard to judge not knowing how you treat your car.
5K would be "safe" with the big oil filter, and the proper oil, i am not sure if you are using the correct M1 from your post. Be sure to check your oil and top off for blowby loss every 1K

I love my ride so I plan oil changes every 5k
After modding the car and I planning to chip it an oil change is just assurance that the car is prepped to run as it should.
I have a 10 year old Explorer and did the same thing and the car runs as new.
Oil is the blood of the car so why skimp on such a minor thing as a oil change?
