Is anyone aware of a coolant "guage"sensor replacement for the factory idiot light sensor? I would like the temp guage to actually work as a guage, as I am a big fan of knowing my exact engine temp. I do not have time to install guages as I usually do. If you are unaware of what I am talking about, the temp guage in my 2004 A4 1.8t reads dead center once the engine is warmed up. Using my OBDII tool, I see that the engine temp varies dramatically(190-215F) depending on how I am driving, meanwhile the temp guage shows that the engine temp is "right in the middle as it should be". I believe audi did this to avoid scaring the common folk.
