Default A4's with painted lowers: My body shop broke the lowers panels claiming that (more)

it is because of the way they are attached. They had to order new ones over night(per my request) but it looks like that they will have me pay for the over night service. It is $40 extra. From your experience did any of the body shops broke the lower panels claiming they were hard to take off?.

If you're talking about the rocker panels, then no they are easy to remove.

Default There was a step by step post here long ago by TOM/APR

and he walked you through the process of removing and painting the lowers. He clearly stated that you need to pre-purchase the side panel attachment hardware as it normally broke off when being removed.
