"A8 brake upgrade"
Back in my B5 days, it was popular to use TT carriers with A8 rotors to upgrade the front brakes. Does that work on the B6?

Check at audizine to be sure, but I believe for the B6, you can use B7 calipers and carriers on the B6 as an upgrade, but you will need different rotors- like i said, check audizine, i remember seeing a thread just recently.

After some hunting around, it seems I can upgrade from stock 11.3" rotors to 12.3" rotors with a simple replacement of the caliper carriers. The ones from the B6 3.0L appear to be the magic part.

I can't comment on this exact upgrade since I haven't done it yet, but on the B5 it was a night and day difference. MUCH better braking. From barely adequate to "throw you into the seatbelt" in a panic stop.
